Freewrite iOS

A while ago, Farza created and shared Freewrite macOS app for distraction free writing in your flow state. I, a sucker for minimal apps, immediately downloaded the app and loved using it.

After a while, I realized most of my thoughts or reflection occur when I am away from the screen. While walking, camping with friends, driving, running an errand, you name it. While it's not always possible to carry macbook, the phone is always there. Thus, I decided to write (or ask claude to write) the iOS version of the app.

I just submitted it for review on App Store, in the meantime, if you want to try it out, reach out on X for the Testflight invite. Or, you can build the app yourself through the source code.

All data stays local and no analytics is collected.

Oh, and it also comes in dark mode :)
